    It's been a grey month...

My preferences in colors for my watches leans heavily toward black. A couple outliers exist (Red-out 5735, rescue orange 5610) but generally the darker, the better.
But the last month has seen a "radical" new colorway find its way in...GREY!!!

First I sold my G-9300 Mudman to fund a GW-9300CM in grey camo, then a grey/black silicone strap came for my Oceanus OCW-M700, and just yesterday a PacParts order brought a grey bezel and strap for a GWM-5610.

Keeping in theme, PacParts also brought a dark bezel to replace the blue on my GPW-2000. Stealth-o-rama

How difficult was it to install the new bezel on the GPW-2000?

That grey square DOES look fantastic!!!

Grey has always been a favorite color of mine on watches - especially the dial. I've had some gorgeous watches with grey dials - most recently an Oris Aquis Hammerhead that I just sold. (moving away from expensive mechanicals) But simply a beautiful watch!!

Your post makes me think that I'd love to have a grey square. Maybe one day!

They all look great, but that grey Oshi is especially nice.

Less difficult than you think. Remove the strap/resin trim pieces and the screws from the side resin pieces and then apply upward pressure with fingernails or soft prying tool under the "G-Shock" or "Protection" lettering on the bezel. Don't force it, but with steady pressure the adhesive will begin to let go and it will pop off. I didn't use heat, but that should help weaken the adhesive. Mine was still sticky after removal, so I just snapped the new bezel on and reassembled. Hope that helps.

That grey square DOES look fantastic!!!
Thanks T4P, I would not have found the grey resin without a tip-off in one of Acadian's post about the DWD5600P-8. Nice and soft, with satin finish hardware. Case and glass are from a 5610-BA with a module from my GW-5000.

Appreciate that nk, thank-you. That Barton strap really changed the watch's look and feel and is a super value for it's cost.

And one day I will take the time to figure out how to take a decent photograph.

Love the grey square. May have to have a word with one of mine about doing the same.
