Its Big! Its Orange! Its in the Rain!

Reasonable people might question whether this orange hunk-o-plastic looks silly on a white haired 55-year old geezer, but I couldn't resist. So here are some shots of the newest acquisition on a rainy Friday in the big, bad City.

Here's the old man -- in a black polo and black jeans -- checking out the contrast of the bright orange GX-56-4A. The watch as "splash of color". Shot taken of a mirror:

Shot taken of a reflection in an elevator:

    Out to the streets:

In another elevator -- just out of the rain:

Switching from the Blackberry to a real camera upon arrival at the office:

I really like the way it looks in that elevator shot.

I like that the display looks so blacked out.

The GX56-4A must be the watch to wear in the rain. I've got mine on today in the monsoon. Sadly, no pics. I left the water resistant Casio G-Shock camera at home.

You'd look less ridiculous if you didn't tuck your polo into your jeans.

How did it get so late so soon?

Now now.... There are friends and colleagues who'd tell you that my clothes are the LEAST ridiculous thing about me!

Actually, this particular polo is significantly too big on me (that's what happens when one drops 70+ pounds). I can sort of get away with it when the shirt is tucked in, but it would be even more ridiculous flapping around.

Now that "long sleeve" weather is upon us, new shirts are en route.

By the way, I like the contrast of wearing a bright "G" when I'm wearing black clothes.
