Its not a DW50001JF, but here's what I just got

So, as my other thread said, I recently won a DW50001JF, and then Bitrade_Corp "sold" it out from under me. I got a refund, and tonight got this. I'm unclear on my "Aviator" line, I had a GW2500 for a while, but I believe this to be a GW4000D, it seems there are small difference between the GW3000 and this, I'm still trying to understand, it seems mainly subdial differences. Its not as fancy as a RAF, or GW1100 but its my first all analog G, although I suppose I shoudln't call it mine yet in case they reneg. Post shots of yours too please.

Very nice, I like that it has the bracelet with it too.

I'm hoping my next G will be an aviator. Been looking at the GA1000FC-1A, which has a bracelet, and the GW3500B-1A.

I like both of those. I like the digital displays on GW3500, but I know on the GW2500 they were very difficult to see, I'm not sure if its the same way on the 3500. I definitely wanted a bracelet this time around.

Congrats! Great watch. Like the big, proud white markers on the face

    GW-3000

So I'm curious, can anyone summarize the difference between all these models so I don't have to go read all the manuals? I realize many g-shocks are similar, I just think its more prominent on all analog models.

Theres some good old threads about them:

basically the 4000D is the heavier version due to the metal band. No hourly chime, good lume, wears big, but lower profile.

That's too bad about the chime, I was hoping it had one. The GW3000 does? I also read there is a small dial difference between 4000 and 4000D, I'm not sure which I prefer

No, 3000 has no chime either.

Anyone had one of these for a while and can comment on how the bracelet wears as far as scratch resistance.
