    It's..... Superlative. The GS-1200B

After seeing a couple photos here and there I decided I wanted, no NEEDED the GS-1200B. I sold my Halios Holotype and was on the prowl for another PVD watch to take it's place. After seeing a couple photos on the forums I knew it was the one to replace the Holotype.

I was not prepared for how magnificent this watch looks in the flesh. the dial is full of surprising details. The outer track on the dial where the markers are is etched with concentric circles like a record. The inside has a weave pattern going on and underneath it all the base strata of material has a sunburst pattern in it that catches the light. The markers, and outer beveled 3D chapter ring look amazingThe fit and finish rivals that of my Rolex. The rubber strap is silky and soft. I am mighty impressed by this one. All the reference material that came with it was in Japanese though so it took me a couple minutes to figure out how to download the instructions and set the home time.

I'll post some more photos tomorrow from work. Photos out in the sun always look better.

00, i agree. it's a beautiful watch. one of casio's finest modern efforts! it's visually interesting without being tacky. it feels really solid in hand. it's elegant by gshock standards, and even solar atomic!

here are my black my giez and sinn saying hello to yours.

When, oh when will I make enough to get my own GS-1200? I will never stop lusting after this GIEZ.

I figure that the elegant simplicity of the GS-1200 will always be superior to the clutter of the Gravity Defier series, as far as analog Gs go.

A persuasive post, 00Photo. Cool watch.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

No alarm function stated on the manual.
