    I've Been Away...

For years, actually. No forum visits. No watch purchases. Until I saw this, expected to arrive this Friday.

This will make a fine addition to my "stable." I have GW510a and an MTG-950BDJ. Sorry, no photos. Had 'em for years and they still work beautifully.

You G Shockers should be sort of pleased that it was a G that brought me back.

I JUST received my GW3000 about half an hour ago!

Really love it so far... well, all of half an hour!

Easy to set up if you've set them up before. Just make sure to set your home city first... the time probably will already be set, and automatically move to the correct position once you adjust the correct home city.

I happen to love analog G Shocks!

I went back and forth between the GW 3000B-1A and the GW 3000BD-1A, and decided to go with the orange with resin band. First, I was concerned that the black ion finish on the bracelet would eventually wear off, and 2nd, I decided to save some $$$. Both are really beautiful! (I went to a local store that happened to have both in stock, so I was able to try them both on) The bracelet on the 3000BD also rattles a little, and felt slightly lightweight.

Great choice to get you back to the G Shock! I really am sure you're going to love this one!

    Congrats!

Not just back to G Shock, but a renewed interest in watches. The blue is "prettier." but the strap is more comfortable to me. The orange seems to be easier to read, too. And yes, cheaper. (I mean, hey, if I had the bucks, I'd have a Breitling Chronospace Limited Edition.)

I appreciate all the encouragement and good words about the watch.

From one Alan to another - welcome!
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
