Jammin G Question..Jeff_C are you out there?

I've been a fan of the Jammin G's since they came out and I've noticed lately that there seems to be something odd going on. In the manufacturers' photos that I've seen...both US and Japan, the Jammin G's always have a "G" on the light button.

In fact, every DW-6900 that I've ever seen has a "G" on the light button.

As we've seen with the BAPE's, there are quite a few fake 6900's out there and looking at some of the sales of these non "G" buttoned Jammin G's, I've noticed that they often don't come with papers. The whole thing has got me wondering about the veracity of some of these watches.

    Anyone know anything about this?

    Here's a link to a Seiya picture:

Well i dug up the box... i have a stamped warranty card from the dealer. The watch came to be in a G box, with all the papers... even papers describing the molding process that gives the watch its unique "camo patter". I have hang tags thgat match.

They have "authorized dealer" on their website... and this pic...

    Thanks Jeff.....

Maybe it's a new direction that Casio is taking with the 6900's. I do know that they have used that button for awhile on the 6600's, but like I mentioned, I'd never until just the last month or two seen it used on a 6900.

Maybe they are switching over during the middle of this model run.

    Bizarre.

I like those buttons without a G a lot more, looks way more funtional. Skywatches is great and an honest dealer.

    Have a nice day,

    Jeff_C, one last question....

Sorry to keep bugging you on this, but I really appreciate your help. I'm thinking about buying one and I notice that across the board, the models without the "G" seem to always cost less than those with the G and I'm grappling about which one I like.

Anyway...last question...I know Seiya says his are made in Japan. Was your model made in Japan or is it a Thailand or other version.

    Many many thanks!
