I'm starting to fancy one of those. I really like the black one. There's something clear and spacious about the displays I like too.

what's the difference between all these triple sensor pathfinders? they seem to have the same features generally, with some on bracelets and some on straps. but it seems there are so many of them.

Some are Battery, some are Solar, and some are Solar & Atomic. The Solar and Atomic models work maintenance free pretty much world wide and receive several 'correction signals' every day to keep the time deadly accurate.

In the U.S. the Atomic Clock is in Colorado, and covers the whole country.

Somemodels are 'use' specific than others. Some of the climbing models have extra altitude functions but no Chronograph. Some of the Divers have sophisticated depth meters. You really have to check each Watch.

There really is something for everyone within this line, and they're priced well.

If I buy one, I'm not bothered about atomic/solar. I would like Compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer though. Other than that I'll be going for one I like the look of. The ones I've seen seem to go for around £60, give or take £10. Does this sound fair for what I want?

There's a ton of them out there too Kurt, if you decide to go after the rest. I especially like the TSR-100, an early version of the SPF-10, that has a huge thermoscanner attached to the right hand side, looks just wicked. For a great variety check out Stefans page:

Nice shots Kurt, almost makes me wish I hadn't sold my PRG-80 - it was too lumpy.

These new thinner profile models are very tempting though !

ps oops. It is the prg-80 ! Looks thinner than I remember it.

    I like the black one!
How's the bracelet feel? I've got the green/tan PAG80 with the strap but thinking of going with the PAW1300 next.

Suprisingly I find the barometer quite useful.

The Bracelet is actually pretty nice, although the clasp is just OK. The PVD seems very well done.
