    Just Arrived my new GW4000D-1A

WOW, I am surprised by this watch. Just saw it on the web and bought it, so I did not know what to expect but now that I have it, it is really amazing, the quality and detail is excellent, it is somewhat on the heavy side but feels very solid. Since I got my Riseman I was wishing for an analog G and...
These guys (G-Shock team) really do a great job in every model they design. They up the ante with every model.
BTW, the band (steel, Ti look) is very good looking and of better quality than expected. So I am keeping this one for the mean time but, I would like to exchange it for a resin band in the future.
Sorry no pics as I am a complete tecno-adverse in this area.
BTW2, I got in Amazon but sold through Time Store for $340 ($450 is suggested retail). So I guess I got a good deal.
Now I need a review and a tour of how it works by DougFNJ!!!

MiamiJAG, how are you liking it now that you have spent a little more time with it?

Re: Just Arrived my new GW4000D-1A

Thanks for asking. I like it very much, it is becoming my second favorite watch, I was afraid that the size was going to be a factor but it sits well in my wrist even though I have a small wrist. The quality is better than expected, has a nice weight but had to get used to it as I wear normally a Ti Breitling that is a feather. With everyday use I started getting used to the functions, very intuitive.
Easy to read and the lume lasts all night, of course it fades with time but no problem reading the time at 4:00 am without my glasses. That was a problem with my Riseman, I can't read the numbers at night :(
And finally, I love the design, I was looking for something similar to my Breitling Aerospace but in black and here it is and, a G-Shock no less. Couldn't be more happy.
    I give it 5 "wrists", :)
    Regards

    Awesome!

Sent through Tapatalk on HTCs Desire.
The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

Congrats and thanks for the heads up, it's really nice when someone says the price paid and where. Enjoy!
