Just attempted my first diy resin dye.

First off, thanks to all who have made this site what it is and giving me the inspiration and courage to attempt such a task.

Ok, so I have been looking for watches that will help me show support for my sports team. What better than G-Shocks!!! Well yesterday, I finally found a color combo that would work for one of my teams.

I chose the watch for the lime green which matches one of the teams colors perfectly. I figured that I could just buy some resins in the color I wanted to replace the grey, but figured I would try my hand at boiling them in dye.

Overall, I am happy with the result. It left a nice even color even though it is a shade light in person. I feel that it will get the point across. I may end up trying to darken it at some point.

Here is the Teams logo for reference.

I think it looks AWESOME and sooo much better than stock! Blue and green is a class combo.
The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

Thanks. The Grey doesn't look too bad 8 person, but I like the blue way better.

Looks great. Before I saw the team logo I was guessing Seahawks.

Lol, yeah I can't claim to be a Seahawks fan because I cheered against them growing up. I have weird standards like that.

Go Sounders! Very nice dye job! For my Seahawks/Sounders watch I have the green Jason.

P.S. I have front row tickets to the Sounders vs. San Jose Earthquakes. Can't wait!

always way easier to darken than lighten! so another dip and youll have it spot on

seahawks was the first thing that came to my mind as well :D not my fave team but they play like the 9ers and any one that can shut up those damn manning fanboys is alright by me :p

Looks really nice mate especially as they have a matt finish on the band. I have the pink one and love it
