Just got 1st frogman but I cant figure out the subdial

So the little eye is just stuck flashing on that first little sector from 0-5. How do I get it to flow around as seconds again? I'm lost on this thing and I dont know where to look in the manual. For some reason I thought oyu could get it to track seconds instead of minutes.

    P.S. I love this thing.

i dont own a frogman, but if we talk about the gw-200 series, here is the manual http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_man.../en/qw2422.pdf

when i read it the other day, i didnt notice anything that the eye can show the seconds too. too me the eye hasnt much function but show the minutes in 5 minute steps. maybe some frog owner can correct that???

During display of current time the segments alternate between off and on every second. In CDT and STW mode they blink more quickly but in all modes where it has a display at all each segment represents 5mins.

It cannot be configured in any way. It does what it does, it's a visual aid to see the passage and direction of the function being displayed.

    Hope this helped some.

Well, I never knew that. I think that might drive me mad, but perhaps it's not quite as irritating as it sounds.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I worded that poorly. It's only the 5min segment that has yet to be completed. For example as I type this the time is 08:39:33 and the 8th segment it blinking.

Now it's 08:40:00 and 1-8 are solid with the 9th alternating solid 1sec and gone 1sec. It's not irritating at all, at least not to me.

Ok, so it's just like the segments in the Mudman's stopwatch indicators.

Pretty much but it shows whatever function your displaying while those on the Mudman stay with the stopwatches regardless of what mode the watch is displaying.
