    just got my first G

I am new to the forum and I started looking at G-Shocks about two weeks ago and reading online as much as I could..that is what led to this wonderful forum. I have about 6 watches ranging from Orient, Seiko, Casio etc.. I really wanted a watch that could take a little more of a beating and from everything I read G-Shock was the best. I settled on the GW3500 because I prefer analog to all digital and I waited 6 long, patient days, until it arrived minutes ago. I was giddy opening up the box, almost like Christmas as a kid! I was stunned at the quality and feel of the watch! Since my purchase I went looking at other brand digital watches and I was not impressed with their quality, but this thing is built like a tank! I have my eyes set on the GW4000 in green next..I just have to find someplace where it is not over $500. I guess when I get home I will have to take some pictures and post them. SWEEET watch!

Great first G! I'm sure you will enjoy it. Where's the wrist shot?
Yes, I am OCD. What gave it away?

The first rule of f17 is, if you purchase a new watch, you must share images...The 2nd rule of f17.....
The last rule of f17, if it is your first G-Shock, you have to share

GW3500 is very sweet model to start your journey. Did you order the yellow one?

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

Congrats on your first G, but definitley will not be your last. I am starting to like the looks of the Aviator series. Ah hell, just when I thought I could take a break, along comes another that picques my curiosity.

BTW... We have some of the best enablers who are more than willing to help when needed.

Boom just joined WUS even though been using it for months....my newest watch is G shock Giez GS1001, though it's really bottom of Giez spectrum love the look and price was a steal, not to mention USA seems to have a shortage if any of them, Gshocks all over but I feel these giez are a little more for men and less boys, though them new aviators are some bad ass
