Unhappy Just ordered my first frog

I've been lurking here for about a week now checking out and learning about various G Shocks. I dive a little so I'm drawn to the Frogman series. Been watching a few on eBay and then tonight I stumbled across a MIRB GW200MS-1 on Amazon from a seller called Watchgems for $245.74 shipped.

From what I've seen this seemed like a deal so i jumped on it. Sorry but it looks like I got the last one.

I want to thank you guys for turning me on to these cool watches. My wife doesn't know it yet but she hates you guys

Thumbs Down Re: Just ordered my first frog

Unfortunately my experience with Watchgems turned out to be less than pleasant. After a week went by with no watch and absolutely no communication from the seller I e-mailed to inquire about the status of my order. The seller replied that during pre-shipping inspection the watch was found to be "not as described" and that a new watch would be available in 7-10 days. They gave me the option to cancel my order and I did. Fortunately I'm not out any money.

The biggest problem I have is they did not contact me to let me know there was a problem with my order. It was only after I contacted them that they informed me of the delay. The whole thing seems suspicious to me and I will avoid them in the future. I wonder if they really ever had the watch in stock at all.

Has anyone else dealt with them and had similar issues?
