It's been a long time (what, a good 3 months or so, star?) since I first saw a small photo of this one in one of starscream's future-release catalog leaks and was immediately hooked. Finally, here was a true successor to my all-time favorite travel watch, Pathfinder PAW2000. Casio's intended actual successor, the PRW3000, while being much closer to PAW2000 in its all-digi format; is miles apart in its design and appearance which is closer to a Suunto than to PAW2000's Japanese industrial/tactical chic. The PRW-6000, on the other hand, not only retains that design idiom, it also heightens it with stealth fighter jet cues.
Ordered a couple of days ago, this was waiting for me when I came home late in the evening. Here I am at 2:00 a.m. due back up at 5:00 a.m., trying to rush this unboxing out to y'all as soon as possible. Since I don't have enough time to add captions and commentary, I'm hoping the learned audience here will fill in the gaps until I came back in a day or two.
