    This is killing me

This is torture. Someone on the planet is going to buy this. And that someone isn't going to be me!

Is there any way I could get my paws on this?

Wow, it's the version with the flying dragon in the EL. Very nice!

    Re: This is killing me

Madmacs, I do have an older dw8140 in silver. But when I tried to paint it before the spray paint filled in the SHOCK RESIST logos on the band and also would not stick to the aluminium. I am not expert but it occurs to me that the colour on these watch metal parts is perhaps anodised on as a coating? But thanks for the suggestion.

I tried ages ago to buy the metal parts but there is no stock.

I will be chasing this model to my grave!

    Fab! How about a picture?

I have 2 silver, 1 green, 1 gold and 1 special foxfire model in purple resin. (a mix of 8100's 8140's and 8150's)

I think there is also a 8160 and 8195 model, perhaps more all with this body style.

    best regards, Dave

I think enamel won't work. The original is looking very metalic, maybe some transparent paint is used.
