Isn't that the ORIGINAL g-shock!!
I sort of remember when they came out and if I recall correctly, they looked like that. It's got the "original" band also. It certainly looks authentic and is, really, in good shape for it's age.
I thought DW-5000C was the original G? I think the 5800 was only produced for a short time (87-88) but this one has no bezel and I don't think they are available any more?
Your probably right Guncrossed. I really don't know too much about which g was first or not. Back in the day, when we went looking for a watch for underground, we would just pick up anything with a "g-shock" on it. They all looked the same to me. But I remember seeing a non-tough bezel on a few of them I think, maybe not, it was a long time ago.
But Wow!!, that's big money for something we used to get at K-mart for workin' underground and cutting wood in the bush. How times have changed.
I'm not familiar with the DW-5800. I believe it had a same kind of bezel as the DW-5700, but I could be wrong. It's a nice price, very funny name of the buyer. I think he is not that poor
The original G-Shock was indeed the DW-5000. I believe a good looking one can go for that price too. I think prices will start to get real funny when a good looking DW-5400 apears on the bay. I believe the WW-5100 and the WW-5300 (not the DW-5300) are rare too!
where can you get a rolex for 780usd
