It's been a while since I've shown everyone my watches, so here are some pictures of my latest offerings. Starting from the top.
This is my favourite of the bunch. It's a W.C.C.S. DWM-100WC; limited production model. This is beautiful. I saw it when I was trawling YA and had to get it. There's no battery, but the watch is in perfect or near perfect condition; almost could be brand new. The box is a little squashed at one end, though.
The one thing that would have make this watch perfect would have been screw back titanium.
The next offering is a DW-9300 Raysman. I wasn't too sure if I'd like it from looking at the picture on YA, but I think it looks stunning. Again, this watch is in almost mint condition.
This is a DW-9000 green jelly; I don't think this was a limited edition. It's in pretty good condition except a couple of the buttons have some denting, and the strap shows a bit of wear from the big metal buckle. I'm not a big fan of the metal buckle as it takes me forever to get the strap on and off. If anyone has any ideas for a replacement strap, let me know. This has the brightest back light of any of my watches, in my opinion. Even brighter than my Mudman.
Here we have a DW-9700UL Gulfman, limited edition. This is in excellent condition. Could be brand new for all I know. It looks really cool, but I haven't decided if it's a keeper or not. The numbers are a little small compared to all the other watches I have. It shows the time while in stopwatch mode. I think this is the only watch I have that does this. The EL backlight has a picture of a person swimming and the letters USLA. It's a solar, and has a curved crystal, much like the Raysman.
This is a DW-5600BM-1ZJF Raven, limited edition. I thought it would be really cool to have an all black watch with negative display, and on the auction picture it looked really nice. Unfortunately, when I got it in my hands I was pretty disappointed. Not really my sort of thing after all. The strap is in very good condition, a couple of small signs of wear on the bezel, and a couple of scratches on the crystal. The strap is a shiny black; painted, like the new blue TC Gulfman.
Finally, we have this knackered old MRG-1. No bezel on the thing, and the strap look hideous. I think the DW-9600 bezel will fit on it. If so, maybe I can find something that's the same size as the 9600 to use on it as I don't think a jelly bezel and strap would work on this module. I got it as it's pretty much the same module as an Eric Clapton special edition I saw a while ago which I really liked, so I though I'd go the poor man's route.
