LCD Problem - Digit dimming in casio-5600E solar

I recently purchased Casio solar G-5600E watch (purchased 2nd October 2017 from Casio India website). I like this watch but I am facing strange issues with LCD display. The lower half-section of the digits appear very dim sometimes and the problem is annoying me. I am attaching some photographs to verify this. You can see the lower portion of the digits appear dim even when the battery is fully charged indicated by"H". What could be the reason? Is it a digit rendering problem in LCD or normal for solar powered watches? The watch is costly and uses such poor display units? My watch is brand new and under warranty but few days have passed so I cannot replace from the seller. Seller says you have to go to service centerName: IMG_20171015_101949.jpg

My guess is that there might be a problem with the conductive rubber part that connects the display to the circuit board. If you're comfortable with taking your watch apart, then you can clean the contacts, which the conductive rubber touches. If you're not comfortable with that then I'd suggest sending it to the Casio service center.

Are you sure you aren't able to make a replacement claim? As per Casio India's own policy, you should be able to make a replacement claim within one month of purchase, assuming you kept the invoice and warranty card.

    Thanks for the reply.
Interestingly after few days of use, the problem seems to have gone. Whatever dust loose connection was there in the conducting rubber it has auto rectified/healed.
I went to the service center, the engineer said no need to open the watch as it working OK. The service center here have very few spare parts.

Was it left on the dashboard of a car? I was thinking it got overheated myself.

I don't know, all these days only once I noticed the dim section of LCD and it seems to operate fine now.

Also, i don't have a car....and it should not be based on the heating problem

Is it possible to know the manufacturing date of the watch? This is a tough solar module, in the back plate there is no "Serial no"...only the module no 3160 (made in Thailand) is written.
