    LCW-100 Lineage

Lineage fans... here is one I hadn't seen before when looking through older posts... an LCW-100:

I picked it up the other day, being a fan of arabic numbers. I couldn't tell from the product shots that the numbers are mirrored, but they look pretty cool in person. I think it looks good on a Crown & Buckle nato. My only complaints are that it is a little small compared to the G-Shocks and Edifices I usually wear, and it is missing the CDT of the LCW-M100. At some point I am hoping somebody picks up the larger LCW-M170 and gives us a review because while they are all over the product sites, a real review of one is like a unicorn tear.

Really like the value and designs of the lineage line. I have not seen one with these type of arabic numerals, it looks awesome. Great find.

Beautiful watch, ruined by a butchered "6", why? Why can't they just remove that little piece?

Thats the reason why i prefer number-less Versions. :)

I just picked up the LCW-M170D-1AJF (identical as far as I can tell to the LCW-M170D-1AER) and enjoying it right now.

I chose it for the extremely clean face and the black background LCD. Was able to get the sync signal up in Vancouver, B.C. Canada when placed by a window at night.

It's my first solar atomic watch and it was unbelievably cool to watch the hands start moving the moment I lifted the lid of the box.

Is there anything you'd like to know about it?

Awesome. A used titanium one just sold on eBay for $99, I almost pulled the trigger!

First and foremost: PICS!!! Let's see that watch:)
    How is the bracelet?
Is the bracelet quiet at the end links (I had a really loud Edifice)?
    How is the case size?
How is the AR on the sapphire?

    And after a few months:
How is the car holding up?
    And the bracelet?
    And the crystal?

First, cellphone pictures! Apologies for the quality. Keep in mind that I'm quite skinny for the wrist picture.

    Re: LCW-100 Lineage

This is my first "serious" watch (my last watch was a Timex from over ten years ago) and I don't have a good comparison point ;)

    How is the bracelet?
Feels comfortable. I thought steel might be cold but it doesn't stay cold for long. Looks like I can remove the entire thing if I want to. Removing links was tricky and I lost one of the tiny split cylinder pieces that hold the solid pin linking the pieces.

Is the bracelet quiet at the end links (I had a really loud Edifice)?
Don't know what's loud but I don't notice the sound usually. Rapidly wiggling the band does have a slight squeaking so maybe I'll oil it later.

    How is the case size?
Feels just right and not huge.

How is the AR on the sapphire?
Anti Reflection? I don't notice any coloured reflections like my glasses so I assume there's no coating? Glare hasn't been a problem though.

    And the crystal?
It's sapphire so I hope still pristine after a few months!

    Re: LCW-100 Lineage

Can someone tell me why are these Lineage models only available in Japan? Most are classic looking metal watches (aside from the minor cut off number issue for some models), along with solar, atomic and other digital capability, yet not outrageously expensive. Very tempting to get one, but found that most need to be imported from Japan. In the U.S. market the closest looking and widely available is the WVA-M640, which is not exactly a Lineage and with resin case, com'on now!
