My preference has been for mechanical watches of which I have 8, 4 of which are Omega. But since I purchased this GWA1100, I have been very taken with it. Of course, given my work, I tend to wear my other watches more, however, when I am in a casual environment and need not have a shirt cuff to deal with, the G is IT. Didn't think I was a G guy.

Maybe I am not a true G-guy because I know, from my review of the forum here, that the analog G's tend to have less a following than the digitals. I, however, am an analog guy all the way. Don't think I could bond with a digi.

    Cheers.

I'm glad you like it. There is no doubting that is a nice G. Just not for me. Enjoy it.

Not true at all. I hope comments in the other thread didn't make you think this. There is a huge analog following here as well.

The discussion was regarding the seemingly large number of analog models Casio seems to be releasing lately (mostly new colourways, but there haven't been any new digital models in quite some time, to my knowledge), not that enthusiasts don't or can't like analog G-Shocks.

    Welcome me to the club!

There's plenty of room for both digital and analog lovers on this forum.

Glad you are enjoying your watch!

One way to try out a digital is to check out an Ani-digi combo like the Gulfmaster.

I am an analog guy too........(hard to read negative display + would very much like Casio to have an LCD screen (like Omega X-33) rather than just a LCD strip.
Like PRW6000 and also the Beast.
PRW6000 is the closest IMO a feature packed Casio is to a daily wearer.........
