Looking for a 2nd gshock, any suggestion?

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new gshock with multiband6, and solar atomic, Auto EL. Any suggestion? While I'm browsing the web and this forum, I came to the conclusion that the riseman is a nice upgrade from my current one. Am also considering the mudman 9000, but it only has multiband5, and the japanese version of it is out of my budget atm.

This is the one I have now:

I'm looking into this one,is it good enough for me/overkill? here is my background: full-time sushi chef(been doing this since senior in high school, about 5 years), graduating college in less than a week, don't know what I want to do with my life yet.

Thanks in advance for any assistance/suggestion you can provide

Hi and welcome to the forum,
maybe a GW-6900 might be a good idea? Classic shape with updated module. I had two GW-9200 but sold both. The module is excellent but I didn't quite like the rest.

    cheers, Sedi

What didn't you like about the gw-9200? I just looked up gw6900 on amazon, it is pretty darn cheap.

    The buttons epecially:

    - the recessed alti-button which also has to be used to activate the alarm.
    - the back-protector and front bezel that look like they're taken from two different watches.
    - the metal "sensor" sticker that's just glued on.
That's about it. I still like how it looks but there's better watches to be bought for that kind of money. A very good alternative would be the Pathfinder PAW-500 as it has all the same features but a better quality IMO:

And a much better display with larger digits and less cluttered.
