Looking to buy my first G shock (big wrist)

Hi I have a 8.6 inch wrist (218mm) and I am looking to buy my first g shock. I have a waveceptor WV-58a that I've had 16 plus years and still occasionally wear but I mostly use to set my mechanical watches with or when i know ill be around stuff that will magnetize my other watches.I would like to upgrade to a g shock. I've scoured youtube ,a little on this forum, and called casio USA (which was useless).I was looking at the GWM5610-1 I like the the features with the solar, and the multi band 6 (Both a upgrade from my waveceptor).I could not get a strait answer anywhere if the stock band is long enough for my wrist. Should I get this model or is there another that will fit my needs more closely in both band length and features?

    Thanks

The GW-M5610 band is unlikely to fit your wrist. If by chance it did, you'd be on the very last hole. But the watch would also look puny on your wrist.

Check out the GPR-B1000 - that's more your size.

Not sure about the strap length, but if your looking for a square, what about one of the solar GWX-56 or GX-56 (atomic and non-atomic respectively) variants.

Maybe another option is find one you like and if it don't fit get some adaptors and run a Nato/Zulu through it, they come in some long lengths and are pretty comfortable to boot

Big wrists demand a big watch. Get the King . You can also get this with a positive display

The 5610 is a great watch but it might be a bit small for you. If you like square try one of the GWX series instead. AKA the King.
