    looking for a new watch

    Hi guys,

Time to look for a new watch...

I currently have a Oceanus atomic/solar watch I purchased abut 7-8 years ago.

I've been looking on ebay and amazon for some Casio PRW6000 and PRW3000 series. There are lots of choices and I'm not sure what to choose.

My main use is typical daily inside the building and occasional outdoor use.

    Any suggestions are welcomed!

    Thanks in Advance!

Pro Treks and Edifice have some very nice Watches.
Do you need G Shock gel protection for your activities or peace of mind ?
I'd go to Casio websites for each and research by going through all the options and looks first.
Then come back with that education to pose questions.
That's a great way to find a Watch.

There's a thread around here somewhere that helps with choosing. There's a lot to consider. Analog, digital, both, black, colorful, solar, solar/atomic, resin, stainless, titanium, etc, etc...

Start by looking through the various WRUW threads and highlighting your preferences... Have fun. The chase is the best.

Oceanus has come a Long way in 7 years:

OCW-S100 is 40mm all titanium, TIC Titanium/ TIC = Titanium Carbide Coating, sapphire crystal, solar charged atomic sync, perpetual calendar, 32 time zones (very subtle, almost hidden, around the chapter ring)

Another thing I noticed... under Pro Trek on Casio.com, they only have PRW6000Y-1A. I've noticed on ebay or amazon they have PRW6000y-1ACR, PRW6000SC-7D They all seems very similar to me... unless I'm missing something. I like to have both analog and digital... forgoing the PRW3000.

I currently have an Oceanus OCW-s1000 and would like to get something more rugged.

    Hope this helps.

yeah! I love my OCW-s1000! The atomic time keeping and solar is the best. This next watch I'm getting will definitely have the atomic time keeping and solar capabilities. Also need to have both analog and digital display.
