    Looking for a part

    Hey all, first time poster.

Have been into watches for awhile, and recently got interested in the G-shocks. Have a few newer model G's. I found a used (older?) Casio recently that is in good shape, but when I got it the plastic shroud around the watch just sort of crumbled away. I am looking for a replacement, an acquaintance from another board pointed me to an ebay seller, but the one he sells is for a different model number. His says its for a DW-5600, mine says DW-5200 on the back. Upon emailing him he said the DW-5200 part was no longer available.

Does anyone know where I can locate this piece?

Here is pics of the watch:

    and the back:

Thanks so much for any help.

    Hi SteveO,

I also renewed a DW-5200C bezel with a DW-5600C bezel. They fit perfectly. Here a pic:

Ain't you the Steve O sporting around with a red DW-003S in a certain television series :-D,

Steve, The dw5000,ww5100,dw5200,ww5300,dw5600 and dw5800 all share the exact same bezel. The dw5400 and dw5700 which I am looking for are the only two that are different. The newer model dw5600e with the resin case and 4 screws securing the back has an altogether different bezel which will not interchange with any of the older dw5xxx series. So if you see a 5600 bezel that will fit an older dw5600,grab it. Try americanperfit or www.pacparts.com.

Thanks for all the replies and help, folks. Got a line on a few now!

    Hey Sjors, different SteveO!
dw5600, that was an informative post, thanks!

AtomicSolar- Yeah, it is in very good condition. I would say near mint. I was having a hard time getting a picture of the face without much glare, but it really looks even better than the picture shows. The band is also in great shape.

Which leads me into another question; How old would this one be, what year(s) were they manufactured?
