Really hoping the tide data is still in there somehow, pretty relevant to the diver market this watch is *supposedly* aimed at, but I'm not too optimistic. Casio seems to really be lagging on better use of the pixel sections of their displays relative to other manufacturers, so fingers crossed. Who knows, maybe they'll actually put the "eye" to good use and stick the tide data there?

Curious how they'll work the depth measurements, the module PDF (3445 if I'm interpreting correctly) isn't online yet, but what looks to be a separate button isn't encouraging. Hopefully there is a "depth logging" mode that runs automatically whenever the dive timer is activated. For $1k+ a titanium case should be requisite (anti-reflective coated sapphire too!), but I see "141 g", so unless the depth gauge is made from depleted uranium we're getting another stainless steel screwback. Color scheme seems like it's aping the "Men in Military Colors" GF8250 pretty hard. Would have expected a little more of a splash, pun intended, for a new Frogman with depth gauge.

A pass for me, but I have no doubt they'll sell every one they make. Thankfully at least the Frogman hasn't (yet) been infected with the rampant plague of analog-itis that seems to be sweeping Casio lately. Long live full digital Frogs!!!

Wow, can't wait to see more of it soon, hopefully a non limited edition model will be more affordable, 130k JPY is really pushing it

Looking at the icons on the left, looks like it'll have thermometer, moon age and tide graph on top of the depth gauge as its features. Can't read it properly, but one of the box seems to say Sapphire glass, guess this somewhat justifies the price, is this the first digital G with sapphire crystal? Either way, really excited to find out more about it soon

Edit: just want to add, looks like they've gone with the same lug structure as the Gravity Master series, in particular the GPW model. Hopefully this means the watch despite its size will be more wearable on smaller wrists. The GWF-1000 has always felt too big for me due to the lug design, whereas the GPW hugs the wrist much better despite the even bigger dimension

Good eyes aalin13, totally missed the icons on my tiny phone screen! Looks like tide info and sapphire are a go. Price still seems crazy without a titanium case at the very least, but marginally less so...

Very awesome! Thanks for the info SS! Color scheme is great and the new feature set is as well. Depth and sapphire are great upgrades, though I would have liked to see GPS for the first time in a digital.. can't wait for more pics!

Edit: thank god it's not a frogmaster!
