Made the Plunge - will wife ever speak again?

Well - I made the plunge. My faithful Seiko Kinetic of 13 worry free years finally died in a fiery crash. I needed to fill the void with something, and it turned out to be two somethings.

I ended up buying a GW5600j-1 atomic solar as well as a MTG1000g-9a. I wasn't planning on the mtg, but I found one on USWatches.com for $120 - seemed like a GREAT deal, but please let me know if I got swindled.

As for my wife of 11 years, I had the Seiko before I married her, so I figure I'm due, right?!? RIGHT!!!

Thanks for a great forum - I was debating between the G-Shock and a Suunto trainer - the G-Shock won!

Sounds like a great deal on the MTG they go for around twice that much brand new. Please post some pics.

It sounded like a good deal to me, although I've been researching for the past few hours on this - it's been raining cats and dogs here, so I can't go outside and play....

Does anyone know the module number so I can download the manual, or post a link to it? I'm so flippin' anxious to get in my hands, I can hardly contain myself.....

13 years wearing the same watch and never even bothered to buy a new one is pretty good.

I don't think anybody here could ever do that.

As for the watches you picked to replace the Seiko Kinetic.

    I own a GW5600J1. It's a very good watch. It's very comforable.

    I don't own a MTG1000GG9A but I own a MTG930DA.

I don't own a analog G-Shock, but it's always cool to have a change from a digital to analog so you have something different to look at every so often.

    MTG-1000 module is 5022.

Here it is (all 5 pages of it):

If your wife never speaks to you again...

...don't discount the possibility you may have gone deaf.
