Maharishi GA110 Unboxing and Current Collection. First Post.

What's up everyone. I hadn't had a G-Shock since the early nineties when I was 12-13. Not that I didn't like them, I just never felt like spending much money on a plastic watch. I am, however, just starting my Law Enforcement career and around January of this year started looking for a nice G to use during my Police Academy training since I knew they were tough. I purchased a GA110-HC-1A and I got hooked. I now own 5 GA110's as you'll see in the photos and just yesterday I received a GD100 in the mail that I got for a great price. Anyway, here are my watches. I have used this forum a lot when I've needed information and I look forward to being a regular contributor as well as an information seeker and collection show-offerer. I did some swap work to my first G as an experiment just recently. Many more modded G's to come.

I'll be adding any new additions or custom work to this thread to keep it all together.

welcome to the forum! I like how you put the matte black bezel on the ga110 w/ blue/purple face.

congrats on your new career and welcome to the forum. I will tell you from experience that your watches are going to take a beating. Get yourself a good solar atomic G and keep it as your work watch. The rest are all too cool to wear to work and chances are, they're prob against your uniform policy. Good luck!

Man you went from not wanting to spend money to going all out!!!! What watch are you wearing for the academy? You need to get a red GA to match that red trainer.

Yeah, I plan on wearing a different watch to work than any of these. I was thinking a solar atomic, as blacked out as I can find it, or a GX56 in all black.

I was wearing the black and blue one before I did the bezel a band swaps on it. Right now I'm wearing a black GD100 with an orange face that I picked up for $40 brand new cause there is a tiny scuff on the bezel. Either way, I'll end up modding this one too, so I think my best bet is to get a dedicated watch for work. I want to get a red one, but only for wearing it out or training on my own. That color would never fly unless I was one of the instructors. LOL.
