    Lightbulb The Materials

    I wanna know what materials are used in the making of the Protrek PRG-80, 90 besides Titanium...
    Please help me on this...no one has helped me on this issue yet

    No, I mean the body...the body of the PRG-90 is like hard plastic...but I'm not sure, can you help me please

    I don't know about the PRG-90 but surely somebody here does

    From studying my PRG80 up close, this is what I can tell:

    Band is titanium except for the extension which is some type of polished alloy.

    Case is a combination of titanium colored resin/plastic? and plastic buttons.

    Outer bezel appears to be some type of polished metal (aluminum perhaps).

    The crystal appears to be sapphire.

    Hope this helps, and if I am wrong somebody please correct me.

    prg 80 has mineral glass not sapphire.

    Thanks for the clarification with the mineral glass. By the way, how can you easily spot the difference between the two; besides one of them scratching easier? Just curioius.

    sapphire crystal is usually more transparent/clear. hard to explain, but you know when you see it. it just looks like more as if the glass wouldn't be there at all. I hope you get the point....
