    Miami, The G-SHOCK Has Landed!

It was not too long since I first joined this great forum of watch enthusiasts. When I started browsing through the different "rooms" and landed into the Casio G-Shock area I found it. I liked G-Shocks and what they stand for ever since it was introduced in the 1980s but lost sight all of these years until now. I mostly own and use analog watches (Omega and Citizen) but only have single digital (Polar) that is used when I go off-road bicycling. I wanted an analog watch that could withstand the regular bangs at work (Network Engineer) without worrying that I will damage a "formal" dress watch. The watch had to be fully automatic, fully reliable, water-resistant, dust-resistant, solar powered and atomic synced that will not cost me an arm. This watch took the form of the Casio G-SHOCK GW-2000-1AER Aviator! Bad thing for me was that it was, for what ever reason, pulled out the USA market not too long ago and I was left looking for it like a madman. Lucky for me I was referred to find it at TikTox.com and surely enough and with the help of Mr. Rose it arrived this afternoon! Look at this beauty!! I now do not wish to do it harm! Anyways, the bad side effect to this is that I am looking at getting other G-SHOCKS (insert Mudman and/or Frogman) as well! What happened here? Did I get some kind of disease? Thank you for sharing.

Congrats! It was worth chasing down across the pond.

It is a great looking watch, enjoy! You will be enjoying more G's too, I promise.

    Looks good.

It is some kind of illness. My last 5 purchases over the last few months have all been Casios.

Another unfortunate soul wanting more G's...
It's an addiction...a debilitating one, in that it just sucks the life out of you. It's true when someone here said that "resistance is futile".
Just give in, get the mudman and frogman while you can still think clearly and have made up your mind already for what you want. Later on, it'll be too late as you see more, you'll want more along the way.

    Great GW-2000 you've got there.

Thank you! I came into this (getting a G-SHOCK full analog) thinking that it was the only one I liked since I mostly own analogs. I have been reading many of your posts and checking out your pictures of the many different Gs that all of you have; all of this has slowly planted a seed of appreciation of these great watches into me. Now that I pass by a store that sells Gs I stop and check them out to study them and the more I look at them the more I like them. Again, I thank all of you for sharing pictures of your nice Gs and providing important information about them.:thanks

Hey hey, I have the G-1100B on my mind, which is the same watch, just without the atomic sync. Hmmm....

Can you post more photos with the band?
