Military Casio - Olive Drab G2900

just found this, is this a proper military spec watch or a commonly found watch?

The G2900 is a commonly found watch. It's available in black and I think blue. I doubt Casio would go to the trouble to make this model, in olive drab, to military specs.

You mind as well go and get this,

It's cheaper, and one could argue it's more suited for the military especially with the reverse display.

That's a ridiculous amount of money for a G-2900!! Looks pretty good in green though

I have the black G2900 and it's a good watch.

But keep in mind that it's smaller than most GShocks. It's almost more of a mid-size.

    I've got a charcoal grey 2900...

...that came with strap holders and a velcro wrap-type strap. I've replace that strap with 24mm black Zulu, which fits perfectly both in size and look. As already noted, the 2900 is smaller than most G's, which suits my small wrist just fine. It has all the alarms, timers, memory, and world time functions I need, with a very bright display and large, dark digits. Add the 10-year battery, and it's perfect for my purpose.
