    Military/ LE

I apologize if this has been talked about, but I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with any of the G-shocks in military or law enforcement applications? What holds up the best, isn't very expensive, and will not get in the way of physical exercise (push-ups, etc)?

    Thanks!

It also depends on whether the functions of the watch must be able to operate with gloves or not. If operating with gloves, then the 5600 models will fail. As I can tell from experience.

As a previous Rangeman owner, I can assure you that push-ups while wearing that watch are not fun unless you wear it up your arm and away from your wrist. Otherwise, I agree, it's a great choice.

The square has been around longer than any G, and you can be sure it has been thoroughly field tested. That being said, no G is a bad choice IMO. Some are just more comfortable and out of the way. The 5600 is thinner, lighter, and the buttons are not as easily pushed by accident. I'm just thinking mainly of the part about push-ups.

    Re: Military/ LE

I would think if pushups are a must my GW-5000, or my GW-M5610 would be my choice. If button pushing was most important, then probably the GD-350, but all around the GD-350 would probably be my first choice anyway....its that good!
