Mineral Crystal and Screw Back Polishing on a Casio DW 5000

Please help !!! I need to remove some scratches from the crystal on my DW5000, I believe it's mineral crystal so any advise on how to do it will be greatly appreciated. Also, I would like to polish the case back to mirror finish, is there a restoration place that I can send the Casio to, or is it simple enough to do it myself. Thanks for your cooperation.

Hardware stores sell kits of various degrees of paste polish that can be used to polish stainless steel to a mirror finish.

You need a diamond slurry to polish out scratches in the mineral crystal.

It might be inexpensive to get both operations done at a local jewelry store. If so, this is your best bet.
