    Minor Mudman Modification (9300)

Alliteration for a thread title huh?!? Anyway, like the title says, nothing major. I just put the already black watch in some black RIT and now the lettering is blacked out. Most notably so is the back plate piece that was once grey. I've never really liked contrasting lettering on my Gshocks. Figured I'd hook this up the way I like em.

    Backplate thingy:

    Thanks!

Nice ... I love this Mudman the way it is but a simple mod like yours turned out pretty cool.

    Definitely looks cooler now.

If you do a negative display mod later, that will really set it off nicely.

I think I'll keep it positive. I like the negative displays but to be honest, they are a bit too hard to read in low light and I'm out at night working a lot. The suck part is I didn't leave it in the vinegar/water solution long enough. It's been coming off on my wrist for the past few days. Warm soap and water helped a bit but it's annoying. My two other dye jobs I was a little more diligent on the vinegar solution. :P
