    MIS Fisherman

This guy hasn't seen wrist time, I don't think, since a battery change over a year ago.

I thought it was time to break it out. There were bits of the old white gunk, mostly on the strap. Fortunately, it seemed to wash right off (though I should have done so BEFORE I took these shots).

The Fisherman, Seaman and original Gulfman models seem to be fairly close cousins:

I quite like the fisherman myself, it is one of the 'forgotten G's'
    Real men don't need instructions.

While I agree that the Seaman models are overlooked, I'm not sure it's a cousin to the Fisherman... It's just a rebadged Frog!

Nice watch BTW, I love the Fisherman

I think Fisherman and old Gulfman are very classic G-Shocks, just like Codename and 8400 Mudman

You can literally hold a mirror up to one and see the other in the reflection. The only major differences are slightly styling differences, the eye being on the other side, and tough solar on the Gulfman.

I don't know why you would say it is a rebadged Frog, unless you're talking about the one shown at BaselWorld, which probably won't be released until the end of this year, or more likely next year. All Frogs up to now have never had a tide graph or moon phase function. Frogs have dive functions, these do not. They also have sun rise/set data which Frogs don't have.

The Fisherman first came out in 1996 and the Gulfman in 1999.
