See here and elsewhere. Casio rather confused things by bringing out two special models in different parts of the world. Clearly, Cruise didn't actually wear a special model in the film.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Also on my blog. The MTG-910DA is the one worn in the film.

Sometimes the "special edition" G-Shocks are an improvement over the standard edition G-Shocks. Sometimes they aren't.

There are several MTG910 models. None of the special editions are an improvement over the standard edition.

The standard edition is the MTG910DA-1V. It appears in the attached photo. None of the special editions are as "stealthed" as the standard edition.

Re: Mission Impossible 3 Casio watch

okay so the MTG910DA-1V is the one actually in the movie right?

i saw the MI:3 watch and i don't really dig that blue or baby blue "G" logo on the watch.

    black stealth looks good.

this is going to be on my wish list.

i've been telling my GF that i addicted to g shocks and she said "you got a wish list?"

i better up some good watches on my wish list.

The MI:3 special edition MTG gotta be the worst product placement cause you can hardly catch a glimpse of the watch in the movie. And if black stealth one was the one worn in the movie, why changed it?

Superchrono has a MTG-911 on their website that they claim was an Mi-III watch as well. This one also has a blue G on the front button. Was this released to the US market as well, or only to select markets?
