Which model for a modern day Indiana Jones?

    Hi guys

I'm a newbie here, just like to say what an informative forum this is and just a quick thankyou to all members in their opinions on all things G - SHOCK.

Anyhow, I have a question, which G SHOCK model would a "modern day" Indiana Jones wear.

In my opinion, GW-9000 Mudman or a PROTREK. What are your thoughts?

Remember, needs to put up with being dragged under a truck and hanging off a tank.

    Cheers.

I'd say a pathfinder (protrek) definitely maybe a prg40 or something. As for being abused i think people underestimate the pathfinders. Mainly because i can definitely see indiana jones using a dual lcd for the compass

    Welcome to the forum.

I would say a Protrek also, but the upcoming Riseman, for added shock resistance, could be an option.

If Indiana is supposed to have a compass, I'd stay in the G family and go for a Wademan.

Yes, those would be my picks too.

Maybe we'll find out whenever the new Indiana Jones sequel comes out?

I'd say the PAW1500 for features, but perhaps the Riseman for extra toughness.

I don't recall if he's ever used a compass in any of the movies...it may be a redundant feature for Indie.

Indie needs no compass. What he needs is a watch to beat off the snakes! Needs a heavy metal G for that!

I think a Protrek would go well with Indy. I consider myself a urban Indiana Jones and Ive got a Protrek on the way.

    hi screamingmoonrock!

WELCOME to the forum... looking forward to seeing more posts from you.

Anyways, I'd say a Pathfinder would fit a modern day Indiana Jones, but, If I were to pick a G for Him, I'd say is should be atleast a Master of G like the Mudman GW9000 (just like what you said), Another G that would come in mind would be the upcoming Riseman (one that has been suggested by some fellow members).

Hey, does anyone know whether or not the New Riseman will has a Non-Solar/Atomic version? just like the what Casio did on the Mudman and the Gulfman?

I'm going to have to disagree with all of you here, and vote for something like this instead:
