    Which models have reinforced straps?

I read an article in Watchtime about Casio a few years ago. It mentioned that they were going to make newer straps that were strengthened with something like teflon. Does anyone know more about this? Thanks.

I believe the strengthening is carbon fibre insert. Someone here may tell you how comfortable and how strong they are.

The GW-S5600-1JF is one G Shock model that has carbon fiber insert band. It's a JDM product and the reviews of the band seem to point out that it's harder to break it in and is definitely not as soft and comfortable on the wrist like what you would get with the GW5000 model. Having said that, the carbon fibre insert is meant to withstand much more abuse and wear and tear than other resin bands, so it depends on the conditions where you'll be wearing the watch.

I have some Rangeman, with resin belts or carbon fiber reinforced, typically for japanese market, I prefer the resin because softer and more flexible.
In my past experience with Casio, I didn't find duration problem.

GPW-1000 models do usually have carbon fiber inserts in straps.

The older model (discontinued) GD-200. It was reinforced with Fiber Glass. You can see it in strap. That is not a print job, it is the Fiber Glass.

Just a friendly point of caution; fiber glass dust has serious health implications. Never try to cut the strap.
    Great looking watch.
