    Most accurate non atomic G

By far my most accurate non atomic is my trusty G7900 rescue. All my others seem to gain a second or so every few days. The Rescue hasn't gained a single second in the last 2 weeks. It's still absolutely bob on with my atomics. I was wondering if others have a similar experience with this module or whether the accuracy of a particular G is more a case of 'pot luck'.

My G-7900A-4 was fast about 15 seconds per month (0.5 sec/day) when I bought it. I adjusted the trimmer, and now it's fast just 3-5 seconds per month, depending on the temperature. It seems to slow down a bit in the colder months.

I think the accuracy (or lack thereof) with any given module is just the luck of the draw. You got very lucky with yours. Enjoy it.

My most accurate non-atomic watch is an F-91W.
"Best-fit rate" on Watch Tracker is +0,1 s/day.

Also temperature plays a role....warmer might speed a crystal up slightly.

This is why HAQ (high accuracy quartz) have a TC feature. Temperature Compensated.

Re: Most accurate non atomic G

I bought my G1250D mid-October, I set against the atomic it as soon as it was delivered, and it gained less than two seconds since. Hard to beat that, I like this watch so much (I think by far the best looking G) I was contemplating getting a gw-3500D but after seeing how accurate the non-atomic version is, I decided I didn't really need it. Just a fantastic watch through and through, the looks and the substance....

As Watchphile said, it's pretty much random among models each time the question gets asked. If you go through all of these older threads on the same subject, there's not really a clear winner: https://www.google.com/search?q=site...utf-8&oe=utf-8

Even if there were what APPEARED to be a clear winner, the relatively low number of Watchuseek members (compared to all the Casio customers worldwide) mean that any conclusion anybody might draw from those threads is NOT statistically significant. We would probably need tens or hundreds of thousands of responses in order to draw any sort of scientifically valid conclusion.

Cheers all....I'll just enjoy the fact that I got lucky with my G7900.

    Thanks Yankeexpress. Most interesting.

My SGW-500H-2B keeps 1-2 sec/month accuracy. It's "G-like" (some say it's "ProTrek-like") watch and keeps "atomic-like" accuracy, but for the lower price .
