    Most used Feature?

What feature (apart from the time and alarms!) do you use mostly on your G and/or Protrek?

I've used the compass mostly. Do people really use timers that much?

What feature would you like to see on the next generation G-Shocks? B-)

The world time feature that allows you to choose any of a number of cities (actually different time zones) is one that I use most frequently, both when traveling and when knowing what time it is when I call folks far away. Usually when I am traveling I also take along my ProTek with compass, barometer, temperature, etc.

I also use the stopwatch feature when exercising...and I find the temp on my DW 6100 very convenient.

The multiple features are one of the top reasons to wear G Shocks in my view.

That's a good point Norm as I always found the world time feature handy when travelling between countries.

No more having to listen to the local time announcment, but rather push the button to the listed city

Apart from that, all I really use my G's for are time and day/date.

The thermometer was always a fun toy for me, but not really of any importance.

I can see the PROTREKS and SEAPATHFINDERS would be very handy for boaties and people in the right job.

Countdown timer! I've used it 10 times in the past 3 days. Perfect for Ebay sniping! Makes me think back to 2000 or 2001 when my last Casio watch (Illuminator was the main feature I forget the model # but I saw it in the 2001 catalog at JCPenney) had that countdown feature I thought was so useful. Once the Luminescence light stopped working and the battery died I switched watches and kind of missed the countdown feature as my other watches were analog up till last week. Honestly I don't know how I lived without it. Stranger still is how Casio left this feature out on most of their solar/atomic G-shocks! Reason I bought the GW-5600-J1. Will be on the lookout for the GW056A as that has the countdown timer as well.

Yes I often use the timers too, from counting down for a certain task to reminding me to get going, say, in 30 mins time. I always set my timer to 30 mins.

Countdown timer and stop watch. Use it for work quite a bit for timing jobs that have to keep going as much as possible.

    Wink Re: Most used Feature?

I use the countdown timer often. Indeed as Tic-Tock/G-Shock also to snipe ebay auctions Also I use the worldtime function a lot when I'm not at home. Normally I use the link on my website to this worldclock to help me. I often forget to change the DST setting on my worldtime function...

    Cheers,
