the most wateresistant G-shock my serious prototype-project...

hello to all...this is my newest prototype...this time no displayconversion.

this time it's a totally different thing...i was thinking to make the strongest G-shock ever made!!!! B-)

my g-shock would be waterresistant up to 1000m, temp resistant do -40 C, the display must be more clearly readable on all situations and the watch more shockresistand than any others g!

so here it is, my first prototype of the strongest g-shock....it's an old dw-8050!

this watch is now runing more than two weeks and there is no problem with, the alarm and el- light are working fine...a wonderfull project...i'm proud of this watch!

    regards

Hi Angelo, this is very interesting!! Can you tell me more as I don't quite understand what steps and procedures you are taking. It all looks really cool and I appreciate the inventiveness. Is that a silicon oil or something similar? Are you using different gaskets?

How are you cold weather insulating it?

    cheers,
    Tim

    Nice mod

You can do the same things to Pc's to keep them cool

    hello

this is a simply story, you only need a good silicone-based machine oil (i used a siliconeoil for nautical machines), this oils are hig and low temp resistand and offers verry good thermical isolation, i dont used any different seals (but there is also possible to use high-pressure teflone seals)..

this is not a new invent, they are a lot of wacthes filled with siliconeoil...hydronauts-diving-watches.

but this is the first hydro-G!

    Hi Angelo,

It looks very cool. Never seen this before, only heard off. How are you going to test it's low temperature resistance. I have worked in a very isolated hospital many years ago. They had a blood-bank. The FFP's (Fresh Frozen Plasma) were stored in a special -80ºC Deep freeze. Actually they look the same as a normal -18ºC deep freezer. Unfortunately this hospital and bloodbank do not exist anymore.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

at first i will doe a simply test on the freezer comparin it with an other stock DW-5600.

than later i will ask a friend ho is working on a supermarket, if i can store for one night this watch on an deep temp freezer (25-30C)...
