    Cool Re: Mr-g 7500bj-1ajf

I believe a couple of forum members have it and have nothing but praises for this current top of the line G-Shock. I am more curious though about the new to be released by November MRG-8000B. From the specs, it seems a little thinner and lighter than the MRG-7500B. And more expensive.

I believe it lists at 189,000 Yen but usually goes for lower. Hope the link to this Japanese seller works with translation to English ===> http://translate.google.com/translat...%3Den%26sa%3DG

Ouch... I will soo welcome the day that MR-Gs are more affordable.
But thanks for the heads up on a new MR-G

That will only happen if there's a crash of the Japanese Yen methinks. Alas, they're out of my price league as well, but I think that given the MIJ technology and materials involved, they're not really overpriced at all. I think one major reason they're so expensive is because they're basically 'Japan only' models...I think they'd be cheaper if they were released worldwide, but most non-Japanese don't see Casios as anything more than cheap throw away watches. I'll be interested in what the 8000B model looks like.

    Thanks for the link!
It seems that in euro it's about 1.176,00

Definitely a very "important" price I think!

But I like this model very much.
What's the difference, for example, from the GIEZ models, that seems to share the same dial?

The Giez GS1100 shares the same module (4777) as the MRG-7500B. The difference lies in the all titanium case and bracelet, synthetic sapphire crystal and DLC treatment of all metal parts. I, myself, am waiting for either an all-metal version of the GS1100 or an MTG that uses module 4777.

Me too, I think to wait a metal G's with the same module, but with a lower price (I hope) is the right choice... thanks!
