    MRG 130T has landed

My MR-G 130T arrived today and it's cleaning and battery change time. I usually remove the bezel on my MRG's because dust and stuff tends to accumulate under it. Here's a pic with the bezel off. Like all early MRG's there is a gasket underneath it:

Caseback after battery change. It takes 2 batteries (yuck). A 364 and a 370. Unlike my other MRG's, this isn't a screwback, and instead of an o-ring on the back it has 2 separate guards:

This thing is Ecozilla thick, adds to the charm. Still, because it's all titanium it's only 114 grams. Not as heavy as my stainless DW5000BL and DW5000D squares which are around 147 grams.

Not done with cleaning yet, but here it is with the bezel back on. Another classic MR-G beauty:

    Congrats! Mine says hi!

I should take my bezel off for cleaning too. I've never removed it for fear of damaging the screws. Have you figured out how to remove the bracelet?

I'd be very careful taking off the bezel kevio the screws can strip easily as you said. It isn't absolutely necessary to take it off as there's a small gap between the crystal and bezel which you could get a cloth or paper towel in there probably. I haven't detached the bracelet from any of mine, I just clean the them with soap and water while it's attached.

Thanks for the suggestion Fergfour. I just tried again to take the bezel screws off and they won't budge so I guess I'm just going to leave them in place and not try harder. I know they're mainly cosmetic so it would suck if I damaged them.

It's such a fat watch, probably won't do under a long sleeve shirt cuff. The Ti version is misleading though as it wears lighter than it looks. I was looking at the manual last night, I like that you can choose 1 of 4 alarm sounds :)
