    MRG-G1000D-1A model @G-Factory Myer Melbourne.

Hey guys, stopped over at G-Factory. The rep there showed me the silver MRG. Wow! I believe he said they have only 2. Don't know if anyone is interested, thought I'd share it if anyone is still interested to see or even buy it. It's 3K. Is it cheaper anywhere else in the world? Oh, here's a pic or it didn't happen. Also the HUF collab G is there too.

    Just got back to work

The Casio rep wasn't there, so spoke to the lady that looked after the watch section. She said they had 3 that arrived today, 2 D models and 1 B model, both D models have been sold already (to the same buyer), and the B model is placed on hold

She quickly opened the box for the B model, but didn't take it out of the plastic bag as it is placed on hold. From what I can glimpse, it is a very dark grey colour, and much smaller than the MTG/GPW model in the cabinet

I left my name and number for both the models, I want to see in person before deciding whether to buy the D model, B model or a GPW

Edit: Not sure if this is true, or just a timed exclusivity, but she said the MRG will only be sold at G Factories, and not at ADs. This is probably going to make it difficult in getting a decent discount

aalin13, Interesting... No wonder I only saw the silver one cause the black is on hold. Are they getting anymore? What do you mean by AD's? Hope all goes well in your search buddy.

Yep, I left my name and number for both models, the lady said it shouldn't be long before more arrives. AD as in authorised dealers like Angus & cootes, I think they probably offer better discounts then Myer, but unfortunately it might be a G Factory only model

Thanks mate, I'll keep waiting, been looking at this since it was announced

Knowing its in Oz, the prices would be higher than around the world. This is the land where the standard g-5600 is 199AUD and the GA/GD models fair for around 259AUD....

But damn... that G, absolutely stunning piece!

What! A G-5600E is $199AUD? As of right now that is $157USD. That is crazy. I have a new G5600E inbound I paid $70 USD. Crazy. I feel for you guys.

Isn't that true for everything? Not just watches, car prices in USA makes me depressed about prices here...

To be fair though, the $3,500 RRP for the B model is actually quite good. It sells for $3,000 USD, which is $3,800 AUD, and with tax it is over $4,000. In Japan, it sells for 300,000 yen, which is $3,141 AUD, and with tax, it becomes $3,457 AUD, right on par with our prices. The only unknown is discounts, I have a feeling that it will be hard at Myer
