    Mtg910 comments and concerns?

Costco here has this watch foir $97cdn and I like it but any and all comments on this watch would be appreciated.
My main concern is will the black bracelet rub off if I use it on my desk all day?
    Thanks ahead of time

This one should be in a FAQ! It gets asked at least once a week.

If you search the archive you'll find this is not a concern, there's even been a great technical explanation of how the finish is fused into the steel, so it's very durable. Maybe Sjors can find it?

I have an MTG-910D-2VER M:I:III arriving on Monday.

Sorry if I stepped on anyones toes asking about the bracelet but I also asked if anyone had any comments on the rest of the watch, which still would be appreciated.

Seamaster is correct, I think I was the last one to ask about the black finish only last week! I bought the UK model MTG910 (MI:III) version and am very impressed with the fit, finish, quality and functionality, oh and of course the accuracy as it is a waveceptor!
I also have the three eye MTG930 in standard silver and grey and several other waveceptors but the 910 is definitely my favorite as it looks so classy in black.

I have had an MTG910 for about three months now and it still appears new, I have no issues at all with this watch and would recommend it without hesitation.

    Best, Mike

I have a similar black ion MTG-920. The plateing is actually starting to wear on one or two links.

My opinion, a little wear on a watch just gives it character. I believe the finish Casio uses is as tough as any, I would not let potential durability stop you from buying the watch if you like it otherwise.

Hi 13gsc13, That is a great price for the watch. I paid US$40 more than that for the watch (including shipping). Grab it while you can at that price.

Re: The watch: Nice watch. Somewhat smallish. This isn't a beast like the older Mudman or GW-200 Frogman. It is a kinder, gentler G. .
