Smile Mudman GW-9000A just came in.

After more than ten days waiting I finally received my Mudman GW-9000A.

The only way of making photos here is using my crappy phone. So these are not the best pics you would be able to imagine however I still are gonna post them.

In package (which was really nice I have to say):

    The watch:

    On my wrist:

I was afraid the watch would turn out to be to big for my wrist, but as you can see it is not too big at all.

congratulations for the thoughest SOB money can buy

it looks indeed quite big on your wrist, whats your size (the wrist I mean ) - 6 to 6.5 inches?

now take it apart and give it a good boil for about twenty minutes, that should soften the bezel and strap a bit, makes it more comfortable to wear and the buttons easier to push.

Thanks guys for sharing my enthusiasm!

    @ cal .45

The watch does not look really big on my wrist, despite of what the pics show (on the pics it looks a lot bigger). I don't know the size of my wrist and sadly I don't have a tape-measure here.

The buttons are pretty hard to push indeed, I won't however going to boil the bezel I think. I don't mind it that much.

What I was wondering about: would I be able to press the buttons underwater without ending up with a broken watch? On the one hand the watch has no openings near the buttons at the outer case, on the other hand: is it not the inner case which provides the water resistance?

the outer case will prevent the watch from getting any kind of dirt between the pushers and the housing. the outer case sits pretty tight, however its not tight enough, nor sealed, so it will not prevent the watch to keep water from those areas away. but don't worry, all five buttons are sealed with double o-rings, makes them perfectly capable for underwater operation. however, given the fact that the buttons are rather difficult to push (probably even harder under water when gloves are worn), I would recommend to set the watch to auto el-backlight and the timer before you are going for a dive.

I think it would be more like 5.5 to 6 inches.

    Looks great buddy.

The buttons tend the free-up over a few months so don't worry about that just yet.
