Mudman strap: Will it fit a child???

    hi everyone!
my son is asking for a g-shock, and im happy to oblige!
the one question is, will it fit a childs hand?
the G is a big investment, so ill need to be sure.
by the way, do you think the Mudman is a good first G???
    thanks
    G-man

i just checked on one of my mudman´s... if i Put it in the "smallest" size possible... it messure´s : 14 cm . So messure your sons arm, and se if 14 cm will fit. if he has a smaller arm, it might fit bad. if he has a bigger arm, there should be no problem.

Re: Mudman strap: Will it fit a child???

    hi,

Me son (6 year old) regularly wears my G's, mostly GW-200 Froggies and the Wife's Baby G Frogman. The Baby G fits better as the head is not so small. Even on the smallest strap option it is still loose but squeeze his arm due to the 'flatness' of the strap under his wrist.

Some of the smaller G's may fit more comfortably, but from what I have seen, his mini G and my daughter's baby G fit kids wrists a little better.

I'll try a mudman (old and new) on him tomorrow and let you know how it fits.

    Cheers,

    Pieter

Re: Mudman strap: Will it fit a child???

I have a 6 inch wrist and wear mine on the 3, 4 tightest strap. Due to the curved nature of the strap near where it attaches to the case (lugs I guess) the strap hangs over my wrist on either side (you can kind of see this on the first pic). The case back can get a little itchy due to its design (it has a piece of plastic on the case back), though I wear my G-Shock only when I work out, so I think sweat compounds to the problem. I tried on Frogman and found it a lot more comfortable. But the price is a lot higher. In all, I still wear my Mudman a lot and love it.

My son is 4 and every so often as a treat I'll let him wear my Mudman around the house. It has a lot of excess band exposed when routed through the keeper, but it definitely fits him.
