My 5700 Re-Issues - Post Your Pics Too!

Haven't been posting for a while, been busy with work and also aggravated that there aren't any Atomic clocks in my part of the world to really enjoy the new atomic model G's, especially the new Riseman. Anyway, wanted to post pics of my 5700 re-issue screw-backs.

I loved Buzzbait's musing on the 5600 re-issues, and I agree with his points. I'm not so analytical, so I don't really know how to explain or delve into the pros and cons of these models. All I know is that I love this model and enjoy collecting them.

The three that you see here, I bought but never wore. Although I did buy another Rising White to use because they are easy to get at the moment. The yellow 5700Y-9JF I got from Japan, thanks to DragonJade, while the metal 5700D-8DR is from Taiwan, thanks to my GF who scored it from a small little watch shop. The Rising White is from here, Singapore.

    Oooo, shiny Screw Backs!

Hope you like my little collection, it's not a Wah Wah, but I like them.

Any of you guys got some other 5700 re-issues please post. I'd like to see them too.

GB2G, that 5700D-8DR is like the 5000D-8DR I got from you awhile back! Too cool.

Nice group. I really like the shape of these. I'd love to see one in person.

I still mourn the loss of my mirror display G-5700.

Hey, hey Topher, yeah, now that you mentioned it, we each have one of the only 3 screwback models that were released in metal bracelets in 2001. That is cool! . According to the Bible, there is another 5000BL domestic model, that someone on the forum here has if I'm not mistaken.

BTW, thanks again for helping with my little problem. You're the BEST!!!
