Picture My classic DW-6900B-9 'Fox Fire'

Managed to source this discontinued JDM model with yellow accents, a sibling of the International "Illuminator' version DW-6900G-9.

I had a spare bezel in my parts box so decided to play a little and add some personal touch to the bezel text color as well as G letter on EL button.

I used Tamiya Orange-Yellow paint on this one, to match the original orange/yellow bezel text color.

Let me know whether you like it and if you think I should keep it or revert back to the original, thanks.

The final product with the original bezel removed:

    Thanks for looking

That's much better than the original bezel. The orange paint goes well with the LCD and the lines to the right/left of "Foxfire". Looks great

    Thanks guys!

For some reason the yellow's come up more orange on my pics than darker yellow

Absolutely better than the original. The symmetry with the orange letters top and bottom, and the gray on the left and right, give the watch a really balanced look. And I really like that subtle match with the FOXFIRE on the module itself. Really nice job

Leave it with the new bezel. It looks like it belongs on it more than the original bezel.
