My Ebay tale of woe... :(

Thought I'd vent and ask for an assist. Anyone have any titanium links for an MR-G 200? I have received my much anticipated Knitting Factory MRG only to discover that the extra links included in the sale did not come from that watch and therefore DO NOT FIT that watch. All I can think is that they're maybe MRG 1XX links? Anyway, so I hit the person up, let them know they were wrong, sent photos, received what I can only assume is a genuine apology for the issue and now I have a beautiful watch THAT I CANNOT WEAR!

So, very much a first world problem, I realize but if anyone has links from that vintage MRG (200/210) and wants to make a couple bucks, let me know. ETA: If anyone needs the links pictured, let me know as well. :)

Well, I'm not sending it back, but I did ask for a partial refund. This led to an immediately responsive seller suddenly going radio silent. It'll work out, I appreciate the reply :)

I have small wrists. If you end up selling it, hit me up. :)

^ This. No good keeping it if it doesn't fit and tracking down those links may not be easy.

Very annoying. Go to the ebay resolution centre, you will win ....easily. The seller going silent demonstrates he knew what he was doing so no sympathy there.
Be polite when you start the process and explain the watch due to the band is now not only not as described but can not be worn as the links formed part of the description and were part of the description that were the deciding factor in your purchase as with them the watch could be worn. Without their inclusion in the descrition you would not have bid on the item as it would be of no value if it could not have been worn, as is now the case.
    Include photos.

I feel for you with these older MRG's. More often than not the bracelets are too small and they won't take aftermarket bracelets. I have the Knitting Factory as well and they are hard to come by. You could wait it out and keep searching for links but you'd probably need to extend your search to Japanese auctions. Look for MRG 200 or 210 as they have the same bracelets, also junk/non-working pieces if the links are all you're after. You can often find them for under 100 bucks, which is a lot to pay for links, but just looking at the watch vs wearing it might be worth the added expense. You could also settle for stainless 200/210 links or try to file down non-MRG links to fit.

p.s. those extra links are for the 100/110 models and there are probably people in the same boat as you looking for extra links as well, or have passed on a purchase because of a bracelet being too short.

return it, or sell to someone it would fit perfectly... describing the true condition of the watch.

Kabong30, having had two of them, those sure look like links from the MRG-100 series. There should be lots of interest in them.
