After 4 months, finally I am a very proud owner of the last Frogman, the one and only GW-200Z-1DR!!!!!!
Picture will posted soon. Still shocked & awed when I looked at it.
It is worth of GEM...Finally, My Master of G is complete...ho ho!!!
Now, waiting and hopefully Casio will release the NON-ATOMIC GWF-1000 FROGGIE..!!!!
Here is some short review on it.
What I can say it is huge! Of course is bigger than the atomic frogs..sturdy & solid built.... With all titanium body!!!!
Big but easy to press button....
This frog has some unique features that other G's don't have: It is scrolling text when ever enter to any mode, it will scroll. Not only that, the digits will flip every time you enter the mode.
The first mode is site mode, it got 10 preset diving site with local time around the world, I have to adjust to Sipadan Island at Sabah, Malaysia...
Each site can be customized unless you choosing HOME site which fixed.
The second mode is ID mode. You can input PADI Scuba ID number, passport & blood type.
Third mode is the 3 daily alarm with time signal on/off.
Fourth mode is The 24 hour timer with 1/10 seconds increment which you can set it from 1 seconds to 24 hours.
And the last mode is the Stopwatch, with standard 1/100 sec to calculated up to 24 hours.
This frogman got it own unique serial no. at the back: 9N2199
Probably I am the 199 unit lucky collector????
As the model marks the end of GW-200 series, I think it a precious GEM that Casio produce the remember it's first FROG, the DW-6300 which release in 1993. With the GW-200 has been running in the market for 8 years, Casio finally decide to put it an end to this model. Of course I am so sad to saw it end here, nevertheless, probably and hopefully the next generation FROGS will be available as standard model without scarifying it's own legacy as Master of G.
Now enjoy the pics, sorry for the bad phone's camera...:oops:
