Thumbs Up My First Custom Camo Job,...

Well, lets just say that this particular GA-100 has been my guinea pig, first I surgically opened the case ever so carefully and painted the minute hand white to match the hour hand so the watch could actually be used and easily read. Then, I switched the black resin strap and bezel over to matt white, the white was a bit bold for my liking so, it was dyed sunburst orange which actually came out more of a canary yellow, looked cool but I was thinking the custom camo would look pretty sweet, so, back under the knife, took forever to apply all the tape strips but I REALLY like it!! Hope you do to, came out like a really dark grey with the yellow highlights, I think it looks awesome, kinda reminds me of the WW2 US Navy battle ship paint schemes from back in the day.

Looks fab especially with the original red flashes still showing.

Painting the minute hand is a major improvement and remedies the only failing of this version imo

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

I agree with this post: if this model were available with two white hands, I would seriously consider it. The watch is much more legible and it looks better too.

Hot banana with molten chocolate from the BBQ... My favorite (preferred with a glass of Pedro Ximenez)... Very nice dye job. I love the triangles!

    Cheers,
